I always knew when I wanted to setup my own practice, dental therapists would play a huge role in the patient experience. However, like most, my understanding and appreciation for the role was limited. I knew I needed education, but I was fully committed to adopting, and championing the skill mix of the dental team.

I wanted to move away from the status quo in Dentistry - a top down, dentist heavy approach to dental care. My research has a common thread. Cat Edney. I knew I needed to speak with her. I’d listened to podcast episodes of hers and followed her on Instagram.
